Recalcitrant


The above photo was taken from the southern coast of Iceland. Black basalt beaches stretch for miles, it would be paradise if it wasn’t so cold. I was there in mid June and had to wear several layers to stay warm; by far the coldest summer day I’ve experienced. The image below shows the vantage point of the above shot. I never went right up to the edge. The sea winds were pretty strong and I didn’t feel like getting blown of a cliff that day.
